34-Year-Old Scott Mages Killed in Pilot Point, TX Accident

Struck during group ride on FM 455 East

A tragic accident occurred on December 20 in Pilot Point, Texas, when 34-year-old Scott Mages was struck during a Frisco Triathlon Club group ride. Around 8:19 a.m., Mages was hit by a vehicle on FM 455 East and died from injuries after being transported to an area hospital. One of the other victims was also killed. Authorities are investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
