34-Year-Old Cody Cortez Killed in Kerr County, TX Accident

DUI Crash in Kerr County Claims Three Motorcyclists' Lives

A tragic accident occurred on May 3, 2025, in Kerr County, Texas, when three individuals were killed in a crash involving an intoxicated driver. Cody Cortez, 34, was one of the victims, tragically dying at the scene. Cody was riding his motorcycle along with his family members when they were struck head-on by a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction. His family members, Daniel Cortez, 57, and Courtney Cortez, 25, also lost their lives in the crash. The 25-year-old driver responsible for the collision was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
