Benjamin Caballero De Anda Killed in El Paso County, TX Accident

Head-on collision on N. Ascencion Street

A tragic accident occurred on November 20 in East El Paso County, Texas, when 34-year-old Benjamin Caballero De Anda was killed in a head-on collision on the 2500 block of N. Ascencion Street near East Montana Middle School. A northbound Freightliner dump truck reportedly lost control on wet roads and drifted into oncoming traffic, striking De Anda’s Chevrolet pickup. He died at the scene. The crash is under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
