34-Year-Old Cameron Phillips Killed in Chico, CA Accident

Driver arrested after fatal two-vehicle collision on Esplanade

A tragic accident occurred on March 4 in Chico, California, when 34-year-old Cameron Phillips was killed in a motorcycle accident involving two vehicles on the 3000 block of Esplanade around 6:45 p.m. Police said a driver turned into Phillips’ path, causing the crash, and a second vehicle then struck him. Phillips was taken to a hospital, where he died. The first driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI and manslaughter. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
