33-Year-Old Katie Jo Ott Injured In Elk River, MN Accident

Crash happened at the intersection of Highway 10 and 165th Avenue

This is breaking news to ask and I’m Stephanie Taylor we have breaking news of a tragic accident that occurred on Monday, December 14 at about 8:19 AM in elk River Minnesota. 33-year-old Katie Ott was hospitalized with injuries after driver Thomas Fursman failed to yield at the intersection of Highway 10 and 165th Ave. Mr. Fursman tried to turn both onto 165th in front of Ms. Ott’s Tahoe, causing the accident. Authorities say they believe alcohol played a role in the crash. The victim was transported to Mercy Hospital with unspecified injuries.
