Mr. Ewing was crossing three lanes of traffic, when he was hit by a 2001 Ford F-150 pickup truck. The accident occurred near Greensboro Road. Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The unidentified driver remained at the scene to cooperate. Witnesses are asked to call the Traffic Crash Reconstruction Team at 336-883-3224 or Crime Stoppers of High Point at 336-889-4000.
