33-Year-Old Oakley Jones Killed in Tulare, CA Accident

Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Highway 198

A tragic accident occurred on October 5 in Tulare County, California, when 33-year-old Oakley Jones from Porterville was killed. Around 1:30 p.m., Jones’s westbound motorcycle on Highway 198 east of Mehrten Drive collided with a 1999 Jeep Cherokee making a sudden U-turn. Another motorcyclist and the Jeep driver also died. CHP is investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim’s family.
