Motorcyclist dies after collision at Balboa and Eckstrom Avenues

A tragic accident occurred on October 26 in Clairemont Mesa, CA, when 32-year-old Michael Almedina was involved in a motorcycle crash with a sedan near Balboa and Eckstrom avenues. Almedina, a San Diego resident, was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where he sadly passed away from his injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
