32-Year-Old Katunga Manuel-Nunn Injured in Oakland, CA Accident

Bicyclist struck near 73rd Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on October 24 in East Oakland, California, when 32-year-old Katunga Manuel-Nunn was critically injured while riding his bicycle near 73rd Avenue and Weld Street. Surveillance video showed a speeding silver sedan striking his bike before fleeing the scene. Manuel-Nunn suffered life-threatening injuries, including a traumatic brain injury, and remains in the ICU. The driver has not been located, and the crash remains under investigation.
