A tragic accident occurred on March 21 in Santa Barbara County, California, when 32-year-old Derrick Silvano Wright was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 101 near Alisos Canyon. Wright was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. The circumstances surrounding the collision are under investigation.
