32-Year-Old Arturo Guerrero Arrested in Santa Cruz, CA Accident

A tragic accident occurred on August 4 in Santa Cruz, California, when 32-year-old Arturo Guerrero allegedly struck a 42-year-old pedestrian in a marked crosswalk at Highway 1 and River Street. The incident happened around 8:50 p.m. Guerrero fled the scene but was later arrested at his home in Watsonville. The victim was seriously injured and taken to a nearby trauma center. Guerrero now faces felony hit-and-run and other charges. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
