A tragic accident occurred on April 25 near Newman, California, when 32-year-old Angela Quiroga was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 north of Stuhr Road. Authorities said a Ford SUV overturned and landed on its roof in the median area. The driver was killed, while Quiroga was airlifted to a hospital with major injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
