Maravilla of Moxee was killed in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 22. Maravilla was driving a Nissan Altima eastbound around 8:30 a.m. when a westbound GMC Yukon crossed into his lane while attempting to pass, striking the Nissan. Maravilla was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the GMC, 30, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
