A tragic accident occurred on June 30 near Port Arthur, Texas, when 31-year-old Eddie Alvarez was killed in a collision involving a commercial truck on State Highway 73 at about 4:30 a.m. Authorities said the truck driver allegedly failed to yield at a crossover intersection and pulled into the path of Alvarez's Honda.
