31-Year-Old Dustin Lee Pierson Killed in New Caney, TX Accident

Bicyclist dies in hit-and-run crash on Loop 494

A tragic accident occurred on June 3 in New Caney, Texas, when 31-year-old Dustin Lee Pierson was riding a bicycle on Loop 494. Authorities said a vehicle struck Pierson after 9:30 p.m., throwing him into a roadside ditch. He was found dead at the scene the following morning. The driver later turned himself in and was charged with collision involving death. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
