Tragic accident that occurred on September 15 in Gurnee, Illinois. 31-year-old Anthony Hawkins was allegedly hit and killed by a vehicle and discovered in a ditch near the intersection of North Delaney Road and Grove Avenue. His death resulted from multiple blunt force injuries, the Lake County Coroner's Office reported. Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team is working to determine what might have led to the tragic incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
