31-Year-Old Naidy Cruz Killed in Oceanside, CA Accident

Police search for suspects in fatal hit-and-run

A tragic accident occurred on August 2 in Oceanside, California, when 31-year-old Naidy Cruz of Hemet was struck by an unknown vehicle while walking in the eastbound lanes of Route 76. At least one additional vehicle also struck Cruz, and all drivers fled the scene. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oceanside Police Department. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim..
