31-Year-Old Brigido Villanueva Arrested in Santa Rosa, CA Accident

A tragic accident occurred on December 31 in Santa Rosa, California, when a man in his 70s was struck while crossing College Avenue at Morgan Street around 7:13 p.m. The pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition. The driver, 31-year-old Brigido Pena Villanueva of Greenfield, initially fled the scene but later turned himself in. He was arrested for felony hit-and-run causing serious bodily injury. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
