Around 9 a.m., 10.5 miles north of Muleshoe, a Kenworth failed to stop at a stop sign on FM 145, colliding with Soliz's southbound Peterbilt on U.S. Highway 114. The Kenworth driver died at the scene. Soliz was flown to a hospital. Authorities are investigating.
