30-Year-Old Andres Romero Killed In Fresno, CA DUI Accident

The driver has been arrested

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, January 2 at around 12:30 AM in Fresno, California. 30-year-old Andres Romero was sadly killed when the vehicle he was a passenger in crashed along Highway 168 Near Shields Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Volvo occupied by Romero crashed and overturned in the westbound lane as it struck a dirt embankment. Sadly, Romero succumb to injuries from the crash. The driver was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. Officers were able to determine that the driver was under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested by authorities. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
