A tragic accident occurred on August 17 in Fresno, California, when 30-year-old Shante Vaszquez was fatally struck by an allegedly impaired driver near First Street and Olive Avenue. Authorities reported that a 47-year-old man drove onto the curb, hitting Vaszquez before crashing into a power pole. The impact dragged her into the intersection, where she sustained fatal injuries.
