30-Year-Old Joya Brandy Killed in Murrieta, CA Accident

Suspected DUI crash under investigation

A tragic accident occurred on November 01 in Murrieta, California, when 30-year-old Joya Brandy died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 215 near Murrieta Hot Springs Road around 1:30 a.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, the Toyota Prius left the roadway and struck a tree at high speed. Three passengers were hospitalized with major injuries. The 28-year-old driver was allegedly under the influence and was arrested for felony DUI.
