29-Year-Old Xavier McKenzie Killed In Groom, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on May 7th in Groom, Texas. 29-year-old Xavier McKenzie was tragically killed after his car was rear-ended by a semi-truck on Interstate 40. McKenzie was traveling eastbound in a Volvo S60 when he was struck from behind by a Peterbilt Truck tractor towing a semi-trailer. Both vehicles became engulfed in flames and, sadly, McKenzie, was pronounced dead at the scene. The DPS continues to investigate the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
