29-Year-Old Brooke Yarter Killed In Monroe, GA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, June 30th at around 5:00 PM in Monroe, Georgia. 29-year-old Brooke Yarter was tragically killed when the SUV that she was a passenger in was struck by a driver who failed to yield the right of way at Pannell Road at Vine Street. The victim was a passenger in a Ford Explorer when they were hit by a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van driven by 39-year-old Lakisha Moody. Moody allegedly proceeded into the southbound lane of Pannell Road, failing to yield to the Expedition. The front of the van hit the passenger side of the Ford, causing the SUV to overturn several times. Sadly, Brooke Yarter was pronounced dead at the scene.
