Struck by speeding vehicle on Milwaukee Avenue

A tragic accident occurred on August 9 in Lubbock, Texas, when 28-year-old Ruiz Pardo was killed in a two-vehicle crash on the 6300 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Around 1 a.m., Pardo was turning into a convenience store parking lot when a speeding northbound vehicle struck his car, sending it into a utility pole. He was rushed to University Medical Center, where he died. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
