28-Year-Old Romeo Matheas Verlaz Injured in Othello, WA Accident

Crash reported on State Route 26

A tragic accident occurred on December 30 near Othello, Washington, when 28-year-old Romeo Matheas Verlaz was injured in a rollover crash on icy State Route 26. Authorities said Verlaz was a passenger in a minivan whose driver lost control and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll into a field. Verlaz was airlifted to Kadlec Regional Medical Center. The Washington State Patrol continues to investigate the incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
