Wrong way driver causes wreck

Tragic accident that occurred on June 6th in Atlanta, Georgia. 28-year-old Mecario Harris, a father of two children, was tragically killed in a crash with a wrong-way driver on the downtown connector. Harris was hit head-on by a 22-year-old driver heading north in the southbound lanes at Fulton Street. Harris, who leaves behind a son and a daughter, worked as an educator for Atlanta Public Schools before starting the nonprofit “Ace Academy” in Atlanta. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
