28-Year-Old Jordan Smith Killed In Farmer City, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, February 19th in Farmer City, Illinois. 28-year-old Jordan Reinhart-Smith was tragically killed after his vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer along Interstate 74.  A semi-tractor trailer hit the vehicle after it collided with a guardrail and came to rest in the eastbound lane. The victim was rushed to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana where, sadly, he was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation by the Champaign County Coroner’s Office and the Illinois State Police. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
