A tragic accident occurred on December 13 in Fremont, California, when officers attempted to stop a speeding vehicle driven by 28-year-old Antwone Spruill. During the pursuit, Spruill fled through South Grimmer Boulevard, struck another vehicle, then veered onto the sidewalk and hit a pedestrian. The victim later died at a hospital.
