27-Year-Old Hector Zavala Montero Killed in Midland, TX Accident

Head-on crash on North Big Spring Street

A tragic accident occurred on September 5 in Midland, Texas, when 27-year-old Hector Julian Zavala Montero was killed in a head-on crash on North Big Spring Street, just south of Loop 250. Around 1:55 a.m., a speeding GMC pickup driven by a 42-year-old man drifted into southbound lanes and struck Montero’s Mercury Milan. Police believe alcohol was a factor, and charges are pending.
