27-Year-Old Arturo Ramirez Killed In Tornillo, TX Accident

Hit-and-run accident at Steel Mill and Highland Street intersection

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, August 29 at about 1:40 AM in Tornillo, Texas. 27-year-old Arturo Ramirez was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Steel Mill and Highland Streets. The victim was struck by a vehicle driven by Javier Ochoa. Ochoa fled the scene but was located two days later by Deputies from the El Paso Sheriff’s Office. Ochoa was booked into the El Paso County Jail for an accident involving death, along with several other outstanding warrants. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
