A tragic accident occurred on June 3 in Merced County, California, when 27-year-old Anthony Mendoza was fatally struck by a Toyota Tacoma while riding his bicycle eastbound on Belcher Avenue. It happened at approximately 9:33 p.m. The driver fled but later contacted CHP through his father. A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help with funeral expenses.
