Motorcyclist dies after collision with dump truck on US 290

A tragic accident occurred on June 11 in Austin, Texas, when 26-year-old Steve Antonio Ruiz was involved in a collision between his motorcycle and a dump truck in the 9300 block of the East U.S. 290 westbound service road. Authorities said Ruiz was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
