A tragic accident occurred on January 12 in South Gate, California, when a 26-year-old Aracely Macedo was struck and killed while walking at South Gate Park. Police said a vehicle veered onto the sidewalk and hit Macedo as she was exercising with her younger sister. She later died at the hospital. A GoFundMehas been started in her name.
