A tragic accident occurred on April 21 in Bakersfield, California, when 26-year-old Roshanda Jones was struck by an unknown vehicle in the 1500 block of Feliz Drive near Simpson Road. Authorities said she was taken to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The driver fled the scene and remains unidentified. The investigation is ongoing.
