Passenger dies in suspected DUI crash

A tragic accident occurred on November 13 in Cotati, CA, when 26-year-old Juan Chavez was killed after the driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe lost control on a curve along Stony Point Road and struck a tree. Chavez, of Petaluma, died at the scene. The woman driving the SUV was hospitalized and is expected to face DUI charges. A GoFundMehas been created to support Chavez’s family.
