A tragic accident occurred on January 12 in south Bakersfield, California, when 25-year-old Wendy Rose Wilson was killed after being struck by a 2012 Toyota Yaris on the 5300 block of South Union Avenue. Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities said alcohol or drugs were not a factor. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
