Passenger dies after Union Pacific train strikes FedEx truck

A tragic accident occurred on July 23 in Hill County, Texas, when 25-year-old Sheldon Gutierrez-Rangel was a passenger in a FedEx truck struck by a Union Pacific train on a private road near State Highway 81 and County Road 414. Gutierrez-Rangel was rushed to a hospital, where he later died. The truck driver remained hospitalized in critical condition. The accident remains under investigation.
