A tragic accident occurred on March 3 in Laguna Beach, California, when 25-year-old Savannah Van Houtte was killed after two work trucks collided and struck her in a parking lot. Authorities said a CR&R trash truck collided with a Belshire Environmental Services vehicle at a 7-Eleven on Coast Highway. Van Houtte, an Irvine resident, was taken to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, where she was pronounced deceased. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
