25-Year-Old Kariel Torres Killed In Whethersfield, CT Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, September 19th in Wethersfield, Connecticut. 25-year-old Kariel Torres was one of multiple victims tragically killed when the driver of a vehicle plowed through a crowd on Interstate 91. According to records, several people were on the roadway after an initial crash near exit 27. That is when the motorist rammed through the crowd and then fled the scene. Police described the suspect vehicle as a blue 2002 to 2004 Honda CRV with a spare tire on the rear end. Those who might know anything about the crash or the hit-and-run driver are asked to contact Connecticut State Police Troop H in Hartford at 860-534-1000.
