25-Year-Old Brandon Moffet Injured In West Frankfort, IL Accident23-Year-Old Lewis Leron Jr. also Injured In The AccidentPosted: 3 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryFRANKLIN COUNTYTragic accident that occurred on Sunday, December 13 at around 6:28 AM in West Frankfort Illinois. 25-year-old Brandon Moffet was injured when the vehicle he was a passenger in was involved in a two vehicle crash. 23-year-old Lewis Leron Jr. was traveling southbound on interstate 57 when he stopped on the outside shoulder of the right lane, on the crest of the hill. It was then that a southbound international tractor trailer struck the stopped truck and Mr. Muffet suffered serious injuries. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Leron was also injured and hospitalized.
