25-Year-Old Scott Renton Killed in Pleasanton, CA Accident

Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 580

A tragic accident occurred on December 4 west of Pleasanton, California, when 25-year-old Scott Renton was fatally injured in a motorcycle crash just after 4:20 p.m. on I-580. CHP said Renton’s Yamaha RZFR6 collided with a Toyota Sienna, knocking him off the bike, and he was then struck by a black Toyota Tundra. Renton, an Amador Valley High School alumnus, died from his injuries. CHP is investigating. Anyone with information is urged to call CHP-Dublin at 925-828-0466.
