25-Year-Old Marttlyn Lima Killed Near Elk Grove, CA Accident

A tragic accident occurred on May 13 near Elk Grove, California, when 25-year-old Marttlyn Lima was fatally struck by a vehicle. Lima was standing in the No. 2 lane of southbound Interstate 5 around 1:15 a.m. when a Toyota Tundra driven by a 70-year-old man hit her. Lima died at the scene. The driver remained and cooperated with officers. Officials are investigating the tragic incident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
