24-Year-Old Solomon Gilmore Killed In Lexington, SC Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on March 22nd in Lexington, South Carolina. 24-year-old Solomon Gilmore lost his life when he was struck by a motorist while walking along Interstate 20 after his vehicle had mechanical issues. Gilmore was driving along Interstate 20 when he pulled over due to a mechanical issue and was struck by a passing vehicle while walking along the road at the exit 39 on-ramp.  Gilmore was fatally injured and tragically declared dead at the site. He was later identified by the Lexington County Coroner. Authorities continue to investigate the crash. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
