Chain-reaction collision on U.S. Route 80 sends driver to hospital

A tragic  accident occurred on March 12 in Forney, Texas, when 24-year-old Saul Contreras of Teague was injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer on U.S. Route 80 near Townsend Road around 7:50 a.m. Authorities said a Peterbilt rear-ended a Nissan, triggering a chain reaction involving multiple vehicles. Contreras was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
