24-Year-Old Maddison Lassetter Killed In Waco, TX Accident

Deputy Sheriff strikes pedestrian

Tragic accident that occurred on May 7th in Waco, Texas. 24-year-old Maddison Lassetter was tragically killed after being reportedly hit by a car driven by a McLennan County Sheriff’s deputy on Interstate-35.  Investigators said the deputy was en route to a call when he struck Lassetter, who was walking in the middle of the outside lane on I-35 going south.  Lassetter was provided with life-saving measures, but sadly, she succumbed to her injuries. Authorities said they are still examining the dynamics of the crash and reviewing all facts and evidence. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim
