24-Year-Old Keaton Degeyter Killed in Hardin County, TX Accident

Driver dies in wrong-way head-on collision on U.S. 69

A tragic accident occurred on July 18 in Hardin County, Texas, when 24-year-old Keaton Degeyter was driving a Ford Focus that was struck head-on by a wrong-way Dodge Ram pickup truck on U.S. 69 near Overstreet Loop at about 3:55 a.m. Degeyter was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup driver suffered suspected minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
