Passenger dies in alleged DUI crash on Gessner Road

A tragic accident occurred on April 25 in Houston, Texas, when 24-year-old Karla Perez was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the 3900 block of Gessner Road. Authorities said a speeding driver, allegedly intoxicated, struck a Honda Accord as it was turning. Perez, a passenger, later died at a hospital. The suspect was arrested and faces intoxicated manslaughter charges. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
