24-Year-Old Jairon Foster Injured in Lubbock, TX Accident

Driver seriously hurt in wrong-way Interstate 27 crash

A serious accident occurred on July 23 in Lubbock, Texas, when 24-year-old Jairon Foster was seriously injured after a wrong-way driver struck his vehicle on Interstate 27. Foster was transported to University Medical Center for treatment. Another victim in his vehicle, 60-year-old Lakecha Collins, was killed at the scene. Three people died and four others were injured. The accident remains under investigation.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
