24-Year-Old Chelsy Torres Killed In Bridgeport, CT Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on March 6 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. 24-year-old Chelsy Torres lost her life in a two-vehicle accident near Pembroke Street and Boston Avenue when a 2011 Buick Regal CXL slammed into the back of a 2021 Toyota RAV4. After impact, both vehicles careened into the median and the Buick overturned. A woman traveling in the Toyota, identified as Chelsy was rushed to Bridgeport Hospital where she sadly succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident and encourage anyone with information to contact them at 203-576-TIPS. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
